Get ready for the Big Night In! Posted On 23 April 2020

A ‘one-night only’ fundraising TV show airs to the UK tonight to raise money for those helping to fight coronavirus, while raising money for those affected by it.

Joining forces for the first time ever, organisers BBC Children in Need and Comic Relief have promised The Big Night In will be an exciting, “night of entertainment”.

Entertainment will include live performances by music artists from their own homes as well as lots of prizes with all monies raised to be equally split between Comic Relief and Children in Need.

The government has also promised to match all public donations made for The Big Night In, starting with at least £20 million to the National Emergencies Trust Appeal.

You can catch The Big Night In tonight at 7pm on BBC One and iPlayer. The weekly clap for the NHS will also take place as per previous weeks, at 8pm.
